A sales playbook is a set of pre-determined sales actions and processes your business follows to increase conversion rates. With the Frontspin cadence playbooks feature, you can automatically guide your team through the best-suited sales process for your company.
With this feature, you can see priority and email lists and manage sequences, messages and social media communications.
Playbooks allow your sales teams to work independently, without assistance – you can let them get on with their day.
Social Interactions
A unique feature of Frontspin is its ability to provide more options, particularly with communications. For example, with Frontspin, you can include social steps such as sending an SMS message and receiving an SMS message, all directly from within the Frontspin interface.
All this communication can then be easily logged within the platform.
Frontspin Chrome Extension
Frontspin also provides a chrome extension that allows you to call using Frontspin whilst using other platforms. This integration can greatly improve your workflow efficiency if you use other customer relationship management solutions such as Salesforce. The Frontspin chrome extension is available in the Google Chrome store.

Frontspin Integrations
One of the other benefits of Frontspin is its access and integration with many different applications, making a team member’s job much easier than switching between many applications. In this section of the review, I will discuss the access and integrations of some of the most popular partners of Frontspin.
Frontspin & Gong

Gong can analyze Frontspin phone conversations and provide details and insights such as transcripts and call feedback to improve the quality of your sales reps’ conversations. With this review functionality, managers can also see advanced call playback metrics, such as when people are talking, to ensure a balance on the call to improve results.
Frontspin & Chili Piper

The Frontspin and Chili Piper extension allow you to add calendar features and schedule meetings within Frontspin. The chrome extension means you can send meetings and make effortless work with one click from Gmail, Salesforce, Frontspin and Outlook.
The most common meeting defaults can include working hours, meeting length and other information inside sales reps might find helpful when engaging with prospects.
No-shows can be managed automatically with a no-show playbook if there’s no sign that the prospects will show.
Chili Piper and Frontspin will make meeting distribution and management a breeze.
Frontspin & Vidyard
Vidyard is a video hosting and analytics platform that helps you understand who is watching your videos, when they drop off, and where they came from. This information is valuable in understanding customer engagement and further tailoring content.
The integration between Vidyard and Frontspin allows you to record personalized video emails and send them directly to prospects through Frontspin.
A free-forever version of Vidyard can be found on their website for quick integration straight away.
Frontspin & ExecVision

Similarly to Gong, ExecVision provides sales intelligence by analyzing phone conversations. In addition, this app’s recording and playback features make it easy for team members to review their calls and receive feedback from managers.
The integration with Frontspin is two-way, which means call data is sent from ExecVision into Frontspin so that your reps have all the information they need. As a result, ExecVision is an excellent tool for improving the skills of your sales reps.
You can see more on their website here.
For this review, these are the key integrations worth mentioning – in saying that, I’m sure there are other CRM platforms and vendors Frontspin will integrate with in the future. So watch this space!
Alternative Options
In the final section of this review, I will present a comparison and other similar but not the same as Frontspin. For example, Frontspin isn’t a CRM. It doesn’t try to be; other vendors like Salesforce are probably better as a CRM but don’t have the sales enablement features that Frontspin does.
Larger enterprises may suit something like Salesforce for its sheer power and more specific integrations. And then, add Frontspin for its playbooks and sales enablement functionality. It’s up to you to choose what is more beneficial to your business.
I like and use Frontspin, but you don’t have to agree with me! So let’s check out the alternatives.

My Thoughts and Final Takeaway
At my company, we moved from Outreach to Frontspin for several reasons.
- Integrations with Salesforce and other platforms we might consider using
- Playbooks that can allow our reps to work more quickly and efficiently.
- Click to dial and leave a prerecorded voicemail, all sped up that efficiency.
- And finally, cost – Frontspin was cheaper than Outreach, with more features. Seemed like a bit of a no-brainer.
Whatever you consider, adding a sales enablement platform to your tech stack will go a long way to set up your sales reps for success.
We live in a day and age where it’s not just enough to provide our reps with information. We need to provide them with the best lists and the best products to enable them to do their job.
Frontspin goes a long way to helping us achieve that.
